Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw (Elizabeth Alice MacGraw) is a American animal rights activist, author also a model, actor and author. Her films comprise Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) as well as The Getaway ( 1972). Born and raised in an artistic family in New York she wished to pursue a career in the field of arts. Beginning she began as an photographer's assistant. Later on her work changed towards modeling and directing. She won her the Golden Globe Award in 1990 because she was an aspiring young actor. MacGraw was a household name following the success of her 1970 film Love Story. She was nominated for an Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. MacGraw was deemed the top box office star in the globe after just three films. In 1972, the Grauman's Chinese Theater recorded her signature, hand-prints and foot prints in the year 1972. Other credits include The Getaway Convoy Players, television miniseries The Winds of War and others. Moving Pictures, her 1991 autobiography was published. MacGraw was married three occasions.
